MAINE SNOWMOBILER CLASSIFIED AD Deadline: the 15th of the month preceding publication

2021 Membership Information By now most if not all the snowmobile clubs in the state should have their club packets which included an envelope for the membership chairperson. In that packet is a list of last year’s members, preprinted membership cards for the 2021-22 season and guidelines for submitting memberships. As we begin to enter this season’s memberships in to the system, we have been receiving questions from clubs. Mem- bership chair people change and new ones take over. Sub- mission of these memberships is important so we would like to go over a few key points. 1. Please send in memberships and payment to the MSA office as soon as you receive them. A family or busi- ness is not considered a member of MSA until it is received in the office. This means a family will not receive their paper and your business member will not be listed in the paper until it is processed. Even if you only have a few memberships, please send them ASAP. 2. Fill out the front page of the transmittal form com- pletely. Include a contact person, so if there is a ques- tion, we know whom to call. If you are sending in Super Raffle tickets with the form, please send a separate check for membership and another one for raffle tickets. 3. If you did not receive a preprinted card for a person who was a member last year, include a note attached to the transmittal indicating there is member(s) with no preprinted card. All members are in the system and we can find their information if we have their name and they were a member in the past. Include their info on the back of the transmittal or your data page. 4. Someone in the club should fill out the Officer update form located on the website, www.mesnow.com. Click on For Members and open the section forms. There is an online version and a paper version. Fill out one of these completely and return to the MSA office. This info is used to contact clubs and should be kept up to date. It is different from the form you complete with DACF to receive your grant money.
