Economic Development Committee The Economic Development Committee (EDC) worked on helping local business owners connect with each other and the community. They held a Networking Event on January 25, 2023 at the Coolidge Family Farm event venue which was very well received. They also held a Networking Event on March 29, 2023 called “Maine Bees & New Gloucester Beekeepers. The EDC organized a tour of Unity Environmental University at the Pineland Campus on June 22, 2023. They also completed their work on the updated the business directory. Thanks to all who served: Karen Asselin, Belinda Desmond, Karen Gilles, Connie Justice, and Lado Lodoka, Brian Shedlarski, and Gina Sawin.
