huge jumps, banked corners and other racers before a packed audience in the stands. There were races for the locals and a kids division too. Other festivi ties included a Groomer Rodeo, spon sored by Prinoth, with local groomer operators competing through an obsta cle course for bragging rights, mon ster truck rides from Moose Maine-iah, sponsored by NAPA Coastal Auto Parts, local food trucks and vendors selling all things geared towards the long winters in Aroostook County. Saturday night brought the downtown ‘Sledabration’, sponsored by Machias Savings Bank. There was a parade along Bennett Drive, an antique snowmobile display, local vendors, food trucks, and a beer garden. Later that evening we packed downtown Bennett Drive for the main attraction, a Rave-X stunt show sponsored by Fisher Plows. Stunt man Chris Cooseman wowed the audience flipping his snowmobile upside down on a giant inflatable ramp over a Fisher snowplow in front of thousands of spectators. Music blasting, food trucks

pumping out great food, and a full beer garden made for a fun filled evening end ing with a spectacular fireworks display. Sunday morning was back out at Spud Speedway with the Caribou Snowmo bile Club organizing a Poker Run with four stops to each of the local snowmo bile clubs and a chance to win a cash prize for the best hand. Starting and ending at Spud, with more SnoCross racing for the afternoon wrapped up the epic weekend. Was it all worthwhile? - Heck yeah! The 2 nd annual SnowBowl will be held this coming February 28th through March 3 rd . We will kick things off with a snowmobile hill climb to the top of Big Rock Mountain in Mars Hill. Thousands are expected to participate and spectate and that’s just the first event. Follow us of Facebook at Spud Speedway as we unfold all that the 2nd SnowBowl will have to offer. It’s going to be good, really good. Oh, and don’t forget to check out all the other fun we have up our sleeves
