superb host, venue, and partner for the SnowBowl. Friday kicked off with a well-at tended, guided 62-mile snowmobile ride to raise money for a local cancer fund called Brian’s Ride, sponsored by Plourde & Plourde powersports. The ride started at the Caribou park-n-ride with the first stop at the former Loring Air Force Base in Limestone and a look inside the legendary B52 hangar. Next stop was Caswell, for a catered lunch of hot chicken stew and hot dogs. Then onto Van Buren to ride the border trail with a quick stop at a US/Canada pillar for pictures and back down the rail bed to Caribou. The weather was perfect, and the trails were spectacular. Later that evening was a Casino Night game challenge sponsored by The County Federal Union and hosted by the Shriners with prizes donated from many local businesses. Saturday festivities started out at Spud Speedway featuring the Northeast Sno cross racers, sponsored by Dead River. An intricate snow track was constructed on Spud’s racetrack. Racers navigated

T he first SnowBowl, held in March of 2022 in Caribou, was a huge success. We estimated 8,000 to 10,000 people attended the three-day event. The town of Caribou embraced the SnowBowl idea and humbled us at the outpouring of community support and spirit lead ing up to and throughout the weekend. Many volunteered their time, energy and resources and we couldn’t have pulled it off without each and every per son who helped out. The community showed their support early on with our community wide snowman building competition sponsored by Cary Med ical Center. Snowmen popped up all over town and the kids at the Caribou Community School got in on the action constructing dozens of snowmen along the fence line on Bennett Drive. LED signs at local businesses supported and promoted the event weeks in advance. Of course, we did a bit of our own pro moting too. We had 631,000 views on our social media in the 28 days leading

up to the SnowBowl. We ran ads on radio,TV and even 4 slots on the Super Bowl pregame local affiliates. Thursday evening we thanked all of our sponsors and volunteers at Ever green Lanes Bowling Alley. A well-at tended thank you event hosted and sponsored by Evergreen Lanes. A
