Karen Rafferty’s homemade chicken casserole was the first real meal I ate when we brought Klaus home and I was a sobbing puddle of postpartum hormones. To me, it was the most comforting thing in the world. To this day when I’m down or need a dose of comfort, I request Scott make “Karen Casserole” for dinner. I love this community and I love our home. Strangely enough, this home checked a few boxes we DIDN’T want when we were house shopping in 2013 and we almost passed it up for a cape in Windham. I’m now convinced that the Universe

knew what it was doing and there was a reason we just had to live here; because this is where we’re meant to raise our son, this is our forever home. In this next chapter of my life, I’m meant to have my Summer Time Friends and my year round friends in one place. Thank you all for being a part of this community and a part of our lives. I hope you had an unforgettable summer filled with memories and stories to tell of lives well lived.
