COMMUNITY EVENTS After having to cancel many events the past couple of years due to the pandemic and the need for social distancing, the community came happily together this year to celebrate several events. The Mechanic Falls Fire Department held a very successful “Touch-A-Truck event in the fall, with the help of the Public Works and the Police Departments. The town of Hebron and the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Dept also participated with Androscoggin County patrol cars and a Hebron ambulance.
