MAINE The BEST Snowmobiling in the Northeast! D o you ever wonder what it takes to produce the best trails in the Northeast? It takes hard work and dedication by your fellow snowmobilers. This is just a small sample of the thousands of volunteer hours that goes into making those pristine trails that we dream of.
If you haven’t already volunteered please contact your local club and ask how you can help. It would be greatly appreciated!
Bog Hooters Mechanic Falls
Bog Hooters has recently completed a big project and huge improve ment to their trail system. If you ride in Mechanic Falls, you know the trail to Oxford with the very large hill that has been a struggle for snowmobiles and grooming for several years. It’s a rock hill covered with boulders and it gets worse every year. This will still be the ATV route but snowmobilers will now go through a cow pasture. Similar to the route 25-years ago. The Bog Hooters worked with an amazing landowner and came up with a lofty plan. With a ton of work, they made it happen. A huge thank you to the Crew. TomWebster, one of the best equipment operators out there, Ted Morris and Howard McNally for all of their time. Hats off to you gentlemen for all of your hard work!
Border Riders Sportsman’s Club Jackman There have been big projects under way in Jackman! The Border Riders are determined to give riders the best trails ever. From grading
