A SEASON OF GIVING

Despite the challenges of navigating another year in the shadow of a pandemic the businesses and residents of the town of Hollis opened their hearts and wallets in an overwhelming show of support for The Hollis Christmas Fund. It’s this spirit of giving that allowed us to provide clothing and toys for forty-three kids from eighteen families! Hands down, the Giving Tree program has proven to be wildly successful as it allows residents to pick a tag labeled with a specific gift request and return it to a spot they go to frequently. Our three locations, Town Hall, Your Country Store and River Tap & Grill were over flowing with gifts this season. We know that hosting a Giving Tree is a lot more than providing floor space. So, this season we formally recognized the extra effort that Your Country Store & River Tap & Grill extend to us with the presentation of a commemorative plaque. We acknowledged them both for being champions of The Hollis Christmas Fund both in spirit and by their enthusiastic participation. The unparalleled generosity of ALL of our residents, businesses and organizations this year, and in years past, is truly overwhelming. It highlights the warmth and kindness that makes living her in this community special. This program would not exist without your support. Thank you all for coming together, yet again, to make the 2021 year a true season of giving.
