We have had numerous scams throughout the year and I wish to reiterate the following: Do not give out private information over the phone. If someone calls asking you to purchase gift cards or money cards and give them the information over the phone, it is likely a scam. There are almost NO chances of a Law Enforcement Agency calling you and threatening the arrest of you or a loved one if you do not comply. This is likely a scam. If you get one of these calls, you should call

your local agency to verify, we should be able to tell you if it is legitimate or not. Do not give up your money to these people; hang up & dial a local law enforcement agency number to inquire.
