Thank you to all who’ve donated to our Annual Appeal and Sustainability Fund this year. You’ve helped us weather the extraordinary costs of operating during Covid-19, AND you brought us to the finish line for Raymond Family Foundation’s very generous challenge match, a big step forward for the Commons and the island community! As 2021 draws to a close, we reflect on all that we have to be thankful for, including: * Our dedicated team of caregivers, who often overcome daunting challenges at home (childcare demands, COVID testing and bad weather), to make it to work every day. * The people of Chebeague who unfailingly engage with our residents, whether it’s a chat while out walking, a wave or an offer of assistance if the need arises.

* The crew of CTC who always offer a helping hand to our residents and caregivers.

* Island shoppers who have made the Red Studio a success with their purchases and their generous donations.

* Island contractors who always respond quickly when something goes wrong at the Commons. Happy New Year!
