CTC COVID-19 Safety Measures Passengers will wear masks. We under- stand that some peo- ple (young children and adults with breathing problems) may not be able to use a mask. The ferry passenger count limit will be set at 20 passengers. If we have more than 20 passengers on a trip, we will make two trips. Passengers who are feeling ill (cold, flu, etc.) are encouraged to remain on the stern for the dura- tion of the trip. Passengers will not be allowed in the wheelhouse or the deckhand area. Freight. Deckhands will not handle freight at Cousins. Carts will continue to be available and may be left on the float or brought from the wharf at the time of boarding. Boarding times. To give our crew ample opportunity to clean the boat between trips, passengers may not board earli- er than 15 minutes before departure from Chebeague.

Route One parking customers who need to move their vehi- cle to Cousins should contact the office. Passenger General Boarding Agreement To assist 911 emergency rescues conducted by Chebeague Fire and Rescue, CTC will transport COVID-19 patients on our ferry. At the request of our insurers, we must require all passengers to sign a COVID-19 General Passen- ger Boarding Agreement –posted o n o u r w e b s i t e . If you sign the document online, please print a copy and show it to the deckhand when boarding. If you sign the General Passenger Boarding Agreement when board- ing the ferry, you will be issued an ID card as proof we received it. Please be prepared to show proof that you have completed the document (by either showing a copy or the ID Card) each time you board the ferry.

Effective Wednesday, April 22nd, all passengers must sign the agreement prior to boarding the ferry. The agreement can be found on our website on the COVID-19 Upda te s page . http://www.chebeaguetrans.com /About-Us.html . You can sign the document online using DocuSign or as you board the ferry. A new ticket system will remain in effect for the duration of the COVID- 19 emergency. This system is de- signed to allow fare collection while ensuring social distancing between our employees and passengers — and to protect everyone. During this time, only COVID-19 tickets may be used for travel on our ferry. Purchasing tickets : The COVID- 19 ticket book has 10 detachable tickets. The cost is $30 per book – or $3 per ride. Children under the age of 12 will ride for free. To purchase, call the CTC office (846-3700) during regular business hours Monday through Friday 9AM – 4PM and pay

It is possible that passengers may be required to sign a General Passenger Boarding Agreement more than once during the COVID-19 emergency. If so, we will notify you through our nor- mal communication methods. Thank you for your cooperation. with a credit card. If you prefer to use a check, you may deposit the check for $30 in the mailbox attached to the CTC office building at 16 North Road or mail it to our office. The tickets will be on the ferry the next morning during the business week. Be sure to purchase tickets in advance if you are traveling on the weekend since our office is closed Saturday-Sunday. If you have COVID-19 tickets re- maining after the emergency, you may trade in unused tickets and their value will be credited toward one of our usual 10-ride ticket books. Regular tickets will again be sold and collected when the emergency is over.
