COVID-19 Plans – At this point, we are not going to hold in-person worship. We will continue to evaluate this decision based on the recommendations from the CDC and our state governor. We believe social distancing is best to help minimize the spread of this disease and to keep people safe. However, even though we cannot physically be together, we can still connect with each other online. I will be continuing to find creative ways we can support one another, pray for one another, and experience community together. Please stay in touch with us on our website and on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/chebeagueislandumc) for the latest news and updates and ways to keep connected. I will also be using our Instagram page (@chebeagueislandumc) for communication.

One of the blessings of using more online resources and digital ways of gathering is that year-round and seasonal friends can be in closer connection. I am thankful for the opportunity this gives us to be in community together in new ways.

Right now our sanctuary and Parish House contine to be open. Please sanitize your hands upon entry to either space (there are stations for your use). While in the Parish House, please wipe down surfaces after use. Use elbows to open the door when exiting.

As always, please don’t hestitate to be in touch with me about any questions or concerns you have. I am praying for all of you in this time,

Peace, Melissa
