Recompense Fund News

The Recompense Fund is ready to accept and help the nonprofits with this year’s grant requests. Final grant submissions are due to us by May 31. We are doing things a little

differently this year. This year we are offering a preliminary review option for grant proposals submitted by May 15 or earlier. This approach give us the opportunity to let you know whether you have met our requirements. We will review your application for technical compliance, and if any technical issues exist, you will have an opportunity to correct them.We are planning on a quick turnaround and will be able to award the grants before our July 6 meeting. On July 6 we will have presentations from the 2019 grant recipients. Each nonprofit can tell community members and donors what it is doing and how its project will benefit the island. We look forward to this being an enjoyable time with much less stress than in previous years. Check the fund’s website at www.recompensefund.com for guidance.
