Let’s get outside and explore some local trails that include scenic views and easy-to-moderate hiking. Participants should be prepared to walk at your own pace between 2-3 miles on gravel, trails and uneven terrain. Proper footwear, water bottle, bug repellent and sunblock recommended. Hike 1: Wednesday, 5/8/19: Mountain Division Trail, Standish (easy-moderate hike with some incline along a nature trail with birds, and wildlife. Hike 2: Monday, 6/3/19: Mackworth Island, Falmouth (flat, easy hike with ocean views) Hike 3: Tuesday, 6/25/19: Bradbury Mountain (407’ peak, with panoramic views, pack a picnic lunch for the summit) Time: Depart 9:00 am, Return approximately 12:30 pm (times will vary depending on destination) Fee: $5 per trip Location: Depart from Standish Municipal Center Don’t forget to bring your camera!
