Summer Ice Cream Socials on Thursday August 2, Saturday August 4, and Saturday August 25 at 6:00 p.m. at the Parish House —Are you planning to go to the fantastic concerts this summer sponsored by the Free Concert Fund in the sanctuary? Come over early to join friends and neighbors for fun and ice cream at the Parish House! We’ll have individual cones and make-your-own sundaes with all the fixings. $3 for a cone, $5 for a sundae. Proceeds go to benefit the ministries of CUMC. Vacation Bible School August 6–10 from 3:00–6:00 p.m.— Registration is open, and spots are still available for Rolling River Rampage! Experience the Ride of a Lifetime with God. Join Romper and his friends as they learn about peace, acceptance, adventure, joy, and rest during this week of FREE Vacation Bible School. Dinner is also provided! You can register online at http://www.chebeagueumc.org/vbs.html or with a paper registration form available in the entryway of the Parish House. Kids of all ages are welcome; young children (ages 3 and 4) are welcome with a responsible adult. We’ll celebrate our VBS kids in worship on Sunday August 12 at 10:00 a.m. Make a Joyful Noise! Calling all Musicians!— On Sunday August 26 we will celebrate the gift of music and all the talented musicians in our midst. Our entire 10:00 a.m. worship gathering that day will be dedicated to hearing music made by our friends and neighbors. Have a piece you want to share?
