We’re also talking about other possible col laborations that could help build local support, bring people together, and grow membership. Our Tucker got some good use last season and is getting some much-needed TLC this summer. We also rebuilt one of the drags and are looking forward to putting everything back to work when winter arrives. Now we just need Mother Nature to coop erate. Fingers crossed for a cold and snowy winter! David Hediger EASTERN REGION KENDUSKEAG STREAM RIDERS sc Kenduskeag, ME Greetings fellow snowmobilers, It’s hard to believe that the summer of 2026 is in the rear-view mirror, and that fall is on the dashboard, and the winter of 2026/ 2027 is on the horizon. As someone once said, “days go by fast, years go by faster “. Just a starter article for this edition. Looks like the first KSRSC meeting will be on Thurs day, September 10th at 7:00 P.M. at the resi dence of Dale and JoAnne C. – Ames Road/ Kenduskeag. We may have a new meeting location after that, and more details to follow. The MSA Packets are being delivered to the club presidents as we speak with some new information, please take the time to review, there will be some questions, please reach out to me. As with any new system, there will be growing pains as well, nothing that we cannot solve together. With that being said, I will be taking on a new position as well, as your new Eastern Region Vice-President. Looking forward to getting to as many club meetings as possible and seeing you out on the trails. Thank You Barry E. Ryan, Club Reporter Greetings Fellow Snowmobilers, As we transition from a pretty good summer into another fall season, seems as if the days go by fast and the years go by even faster. I guess that happens as we get older. A lot of clubs will be gearing up with secur ing landowner permission, brushing out the trails, that seem to always grow in too fast, checking on bridges and of course getting all the field stakes and signs ready to go. With the good winter season that we had last year, now is a good time to reach out to your local club and support their efforts by volun teering to help. So, join a club or two and you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you are part of a trail system that goes through your neighborhood. This will be an interesting new season with GLENBURN LAKESIDE RIDERS sc Glenburn, ME

We are excited to announce that our very own Ken Gammon received the MSA groomer of the year award. A huge congrat ulations to him. He has been a driving force for the Norway Trackers for many years lead ing grooming teams and the never-ending trail maintenance. We would like to thank everyone who was a member of our club last year. We have con sistently been increasing our membership numbers and last year we met our goal of over 100 members. We hope, with your help, to improve on that again this year. We will be emailing membership forms for the 26/27 sea son shortly. Fill them out as soon as you can as it helps us get our maintenance season rolling quicker. We will also be selling MSA Super Raffle tickets. This is a good fundraiser for us and a chance for you to win one of many great prizes. As our season starts to roll, we will develop a list of projects for the season. One project on tap is installing a solar powered flashing crossing sign at the trail crossing on Rt26 on the Applebee’s trail. Find us on Facebook to keep updated on meetings and trailwork sessions as well as other entertaining snowmobiling news. Hope to see you at our meetings. Bring on the cool weather. Club reporter, Dan Trouant Ken Gammon is MSA’s Groomer of the Year While the trails are quiet, our volunteers have been hard at work preparing for another great winter in Rangeley. This summer, the Club has focused on securing grant funding and working with landowners on several trail reroutes to pro tect long-term access and avoid anticipated closures affecting major trail connections into town. These proactive projects will help pre serve the outstanding riding experience our region is known for. Our volunteers have also begun preseason maintenance on the grooming fleet, ensuring our equipment is ready when the snow arrives. RANGELEY LAKES sc Rangeley, ME
