WESTERN MAINE FISH & GAME CLUB

The public is invited to stop by at our meetings or at any events that we offer. We encourage the citizens of Harrison and surrounding towns to come down to the range and check us out. We will offer you a chance to join our club. We offer a 100-yard rifle range, a 50-yard range, 25-yard pistol range, and a shotgun field for shooting trap and shotguns. Our meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, March to October at 6:30pm, at our clubhouse. You can also stop by Sunday mornings (April – October) animals, birds and fish. To further the interest in outdoor activities with special emphasis on hunting, fishing and shooting. To promote and encourage safety education in all outdoor sports. The Western Maine Fish & Game Association is a club located on the outskirts of Harrison, (adjacent to the transfer station). We offer low-cost memberships ($60 - $75 annually) and membership is open to all interested in joining. We pride ourselves as being a place where you can shoot your firearms safely. Stop by at 9:00am on a Sunday morning for more info or to join. Being active within our community is important to us. Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife (MDIFW) holds many different classes at our clubhouse. The club holds trap shooting clinics in which we provide trap shooting lessons with actual hands-on shooting, free of charge to beginners. Safety is paramount and we constantly stress safety in all aspects while at the range. Our regular Sunday morning shooters are always willing to offer guidance to the new shooters that come down to participate in our weekly trap shoot. Other community activities include working with Bridgton Academy to teach their students trap shooting and working with the Boy Scouts so they can earn their shooting merit badges. We also support the Harrison Rec Department and Christmas in Harrison fundraising. Bridgton PD, Norway PD and Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office all use our range for training. Our club sponsorship program is a win / win. For $175.00 for the first year, businesses will get an 18” X 24” sign (professionally made at Muddy River Signs) hung on the clubhouse with your logo and information on it.
