Induction into the Hall of Fame - Wayne Keniston

T he Maine Snowmobile Association is proud to announce the induc tion of Wayne Keniston into the Maine Snowmobile Hall of Fame in recogni tion of his lifelong dedication, leader ship, and commitment to the sport of snowmobiling in Maine. Wayne was one of the original founders of the Falmouth Sno-Voyag ers snowmobile club in 1973 and has remained a devoted and active mem ber for more than 50 years.Throughout that time, he has served in numerous leadership roles including President, Vice President, Secretary, committee member, and club fundraiser, always willing to step up wherever needed. In the 1970s, Wayne began selling

snowmobile parts and eventually opened Keniston’s Motorsports from his home in West Falmouth during the 1980s. Over the years, Wayne has become a trusted resource for riders and snowmobile clubs throughout Southern Maine, sharing his extensive knowledge of snowmobile repairs, trail grooming equipment, and the sport he loves. His business has helped outfit and support countless snowmobilers with repairs, equip ment, and used snowmobile sales. Wayne has also sponsored local snowmobile racers and has played an important role in supporting and strengthening area snowmobile clubs. Fellow snowmobilers and club leaders

consistently recognize his dedication, generosity, and positive impact on the snowmobiling community. From the early days of club meetings held in hay barns, fire stations, homes, and Wayne’s own shop, the Falmouth Sno-Voyagers have grown into a strong and respected organization, thanks in large part to Wayne’s contin ued involvement and leadership. For over five decades, Wayne Ken iston has been a respected leader, mentor, and advocate for Maine snowmobiling. The Maine Snowmo bile Association proudly congratu lates Wayne on this outstanding and well-deserved honor.
