Induction into the Hall of Fame - Scott Ayotte

T he Maine Snowmobile Associ ation is proud to announce the induction of Scott Ayotte into the Maine Snowmobile Association Hall of Fame in recognition of more than four decades of extraordinary leadership, volunteerism, and ded ication to organized snowmobiling in Northern Maine. For generations of riders through out Aroostook County, the trails they enjoy today exist in large part because of the hard work, vision, and commitment of Scott Ayotte. As one of the earliest members of the Gateway Snowmobile Club fol lowing its formation in 1981, Scott helped build the very foundation of what would become one of the most respected snowmobile clubs in the state. Over the years, Scott served the club as President, Trailmaster, and Director, always leading with humility, determination, and an

unwavering dedication to the sport. From clearing land and construct ing bridges to maintaining trail corridors and securing landowner relationships, Scott played a crit ical role in developing the exten sive trail network that continues to attract riders from across New England and beyond. Scott’s commitment extended far beyond leadership titles. As the owner of Ayotte Farms in Hamlin, he generously opened his prop erty for trail access and repeatedly donated his own equipment, labor, and countless hours to ensure projects were completed and trails remained safe and accessible. When challenges arose, Scott was known as the person who could always be counted on to step for ward and get the job done. Respected throughout the snow mobiling community for his tire less work ethic, dependability, and

quiet leadership, Scott exemplifies the true spirit of volunteerism that has built Maine’s trail system into one of the finest in the Northeast. His contributions have strength ened not only the Gateway Snow mobile Club, but also the culture, tourism, and economy of Northern Maine. Scott Ayotte’s legacy can be mea sured not only in miles of trail, but in the countless riders, volunteers, and communities that have bene fited from his dedication over the last 40 years. His impact on Maine snowmobiling will continue to be felt for generations to come. The Maine Snowmobile Associ ation proudly congratulates Scott Ayotte on this prestigious and well-deserved induction into the Maine Snowmobile Association Hall of Fame.
