Respected for his calm demeanor, reliability, and humble nature, Ken is widely recognized as the person everyone can count on — the first to volunteer, the last to leave, and always willing to lend a hand. His dedication continues year-round through offsea son trail preparation and involvement in the local ATV community, further reflecting his commitment to outdoor recreation and trail stewardship. The success of Maine’s snowmo bile trail system depends on volun teers like Ken Gammon — individ uals who work quietly behind the scenes, often in the harshest condi tions, to create safe and enjoyable experiences for thousands of riders each winter. His decades of service, leadership, and passion for the sport embody everything the “Barney Robi chaud” Groomer of the Year Award represents.
