2025 Transfer Station Statistics: We recycled about 7 tons more than last year! 22 tons Corrugated carboard

17 tons Mixed paper 18 tons Newspaper 16 tons Clear glass 3 tons Tin cans 2 tons HDPE (#1 and #2 plastics) About one ton of donated items were given a second chance from the Swap Shop. Due to recycling efforts, approximately 78 tons of waste did not go into the landfill or the compactor! We moved 498.19 tons of household waste to Maine Waste-to-Energy in Auburn, 1,611 pounds of car batteries to West Paris Recycling, 108.33 tons of recycled scrap metal to Grimmel Industries in Topsham (99.07% recycled), and 312 tires to BDS Tire Recycling in Fairfield. Bulky waste was 42.71 tons.
