Hope you have gotten a chance to get out and ride our trails. We would like to send out a special thank you to our land owners. Nearly all of our trail system is on private property. Our land owners have allowed us to create and maintain trails through their property and they graciously allow you to ride your snowmobile on their land. We started the season with a goal of attain ing 100 members. With a huge thank you to all our members who have supported us, I am pleased to announce that we met our goal with over 100 members. This is a record for us. Bridget Gorton Club Secretary

While there haven’t been any winter snow mobile events yet, hopefully you’ve enjoyed catching some of the Olympics. Wow—what a season it has been for the Westbrook Trail Blazers. The hard work put in during the offseason has truly paid dividends for our trail system. From a small reroute around the solar farm to Mother Nature finally delivering snow and cold temperatures, every thing has lined up to help us maintain excel lent trail conditions. For the first time in many years, we’ve been able to groom the railbed all the way to Wind ham, with our groomer operators keeping the trails in tip-top shape throughout the season. A big thank-you to Anthony, Lance, Jason, Wally, Dan, and Mark for all you do—it does not go unnoticed. An extra huge thanks to Dan and Jason for working through a landowner issue alongside the city and the Warden Ser vice to make a small reroute possible for the remainder of the season. We’re also excited to share that a new restaurant has opened on our trail system. If you’re riding on Highland Lake, be sure to stop by the Town Line Diner for breakfast or lunch. Along with the other fine establish ments located on or near our trails, you won’t be disappointed. Keep doing the snow dance, and most importantly—get out and enjoy the trails! PLEASANT MOUNTAIN sc Bridgton, ME Pleasantmountainsnowmobileclub.com The Friday, February 13 th , 2026 meeting of the Pleasant Mountain Snowmobile Club, at the Bridgton Community Center, started off at 6PM with the Fabulous Potluck Supper. President Blaine Chapman started the busi ness meeting at 6:45 pm with the Pledge of Allegiance. He then asked for members to go around the room to introduce themselves, say where they were from, and if they had a posi tion with the club. Blaine said that we currently have 116 mem bers and 25 business memberships. Thanks to Andrew Merrill (Trail master) for putting up a new sign on the Eastern shore of Highland Lake. The new sign has 4 reflectors which will make it easier to see, day or night. Most of the meeting was taken up with the final preparations for the Club Rally on Feb ruary 14th. A sign-up sheet was passed around so Rally Checkpoints could be confirmed. Others signed up for meal and food prepara tion. The Ads have been placed, and the best possible weather has been ordered. The Rally was the most successful in many years. The day of the Rally was sunny, with temperatures in the 20’s, and our 3 Tucker Groomers worked hard to create smooth trails for some excellent snowmobiling. It seemed like there were snowmobiles everywhere, including the Winter Carnival Freezing for a Reason, and after dark for Fireworks at the Town Beach. What a day! At the Rally the Club sold 200 Poker Hands, the highest number on record. Many families who rode the Rally on sleds had their kids along for the ride, and folks who did not own a sled still supported the Club by buying a Poker Card and selecting 5 cards in the Community Center. Thanks to everyone who helped to make this a Huge Success! The Silent Auction was also a great success with over 100 raffle prizes. Plenty of hot chocolate, coffee, cheeseburg ers, hot dogs, soups and chowders, as well as home-made brownies, cookies, pies, and more were consumed. A long list of volunteers, including some who worked behind the scenes, pulled together to make this Club event the best ever! Many thanks to everyone who worked on the Club’s Snowmobile Rally Day! Take note: The March meeting will be on Saturday, March 14 th (not our usual Friday) at The Bridgton Community Center on Depot Street. The Fabulous Potluck Supper begins at 6PM followed by the business meeting at 6:45. This Special Saturday date will allow Members who have just returned from the Club trip to Caribou to participate. See you out there, Thomas England Westbrook Trail Blazers WESTERN REGION

On February 15 th we held a club ride with 24 sleds participating. We rode out toward Crocker Pond and cooked hot dogs over a fire. It was a beautiful day to be out on the trails as club.

Maine winter day. Kids, parents, and even a few four-legged friends took full advantage of the fresh air and great snow conditions. We went through 10 pounds of hot dogs and three full crock pots of hot chocolate! The hill was busy all afternoon with sled rides, skiers, and snowboarders making the most of the day. As with any event, we’re always looking for ways to improve. Safety is our top priority, and next year we will implement a new sys tem that includes an adult stationed at the top of the hill to help manage traffic and ensure it’s clear before anyone heads down. Overall, the day went smooth and we appreciate every one’s cooperation in keeping it fun and safe. On the trail side of things, conditions have been excellent, truly the best winter we’ve had in a few years. We have just been notified of a bridge that needs repairing on the north side of the powerline. A small group volunteered to take care of this ASAP to ensure the trail can remain open. By the time this newslet ter reaches you, it’s hard to say what Mother Nature will have in store, but we’re hopeful we’ll still be out there making the most of this fantastic season. We’re excited to announce a Progressive Dinner planned for March 6th! This fun, social evening will take us on a tour of several club members’ homes, with different stops for appetizers, dinner, and desserts along the way. We’re so grateful to the members who have volunteered to host and open their homes for the evening. Thank you to everyone who volunteered, brought supplies, groomed trails, and showed up to make this winter such a success. Here’s to more riding, more community events, and plenty more snow! Ride Right, Ride Safe Club Reporter, Tabatha Sawyer WALDOBORO SNO-CRAWLERS Waldoboro, ME Hello Everyone, This year we had plenty of snow, we could always use more, but enough snow that we had multiple grooming teams on all sides of Waldoboro keeping the trails in rideable con dition. We had many reports on how great the conditions are, and we had some reports from people that we needed more signage as a few got lost and went on the wrong trails. Please do keep aware of the posted signs, and stay on the trail, but thank you for letting us know we needed a few more signs. We had many folks riding to Bullwinkle’s, Moody’s, Maritime, and Dunkins which is awesome. There is something to be said about destination riding, and who doesn’t love the option to gas up via sled, and then gas up via a good Bullwinkle’s steak followed up with a piece of Moody’s pie. The joy of riding is in meeting up with friends and enjoying nature and the fruits of our labor. We would like to thank Tony Lash for the use of the club house, Ben Scott, David Neu big, Jimi Hunt, Richard Bravoco, and Gabriel Cooley for keeping the club running smooth. We also would like to thank Eric Hunt, Fred Libby, Anthony Lash, Troy Steeves, Zach Steeves, Carl Gushee, and Morganne Price for their dedication, coordination of landowners, map development and weekend trail work. I’m sure there are others that I may miss in this letter, but you have not gone un-noticed, all hands make the work light, and keep the trails amazing for the winter season. Please consider joining and/or supporting the club as the club provides more than just snowmobile trails. They support many com munity endeavors, landowner partnerships, and fundraisers ensuring that the trails remain open and active. So, we also thank all our members and our landowners who have made all this possible. Please be sure to look at our Facebook page for events, club meetings, and work parties. Respectfully, Stephanie Bravoco Club Reporter

On February 21 st we held our open house. It was wonderful to see everyone who stopped by, it was a great success. Our tuckers were there. We had a fire pit, a lot of food, and some games. Hopefully everyone got in a lot of riding time this season. Have a safe and wonderful summer. We’ll see you again in the fall. Dan Trouant, club reporter Gathering at Norway Trackers’ open house

Greetings everyone! Like nearly everywhere else this year, we’ve been riding and grooming trails—and it’s been great! A huge THANK YOU to all our new and returning members. As many of our followers know, our groomers often need a little TLC (especially in a year with real snow to groom!), so every membership and donation truly helps. Many riders have com mented on the excellent trail conditions this season. For a small town, we sure maintain a lot of trails—if you’ve been riding in Auburn, Hebron, Mechanic Falls, or nearby areas, chances are you’ve been on ours. None of this would be possible without the generosity of our landowners—thank you for your contin ued support! On February 2, the Moonshiners co-spon sored an event with our friends in Mechanic Falls, the Bog Hooters Snowmobile Club. Together with Hebron’s Bouncing Bogies, we hosted a vintage snowmobile ride and dis play starting at Fireman’s Field Park & Ride, covering trails across all three towns with 41 machines participating. Riders stopped at the Minot Moonshiners clubhouse for a delicious meal and the opportunity to show off their vintage sleds. After lunch, the ride continued through Hebron before returning to the start ing point. A huge thank you to all the riders, volunteers, and especially the landowners who make events like this possible. By the time this is published, the season will likely be wrapping up—but what a great ride it’s been! Thank you to our members, volun teers, supporters, and especially our generous property owners who make it all possible. Your time, effort, and cooperation keep our trails open and our club strong. Be safe, have fun, and think snow! EASTERN REGION Our “Snow Prayers” were answered finally! The grooming crew volunteers switched the Kubota tractor tires out for tracks and were very busy grooming our local trails, ITS 82 & 84 trails, and the community walking trail between the high school and elementary school. We were open every weekend in January and February with an amazing menu with lots of riders stopping by to enjoy the good food and good company. Many thanks to James, Stacy, Mac, Malcolm, Byron, Jim, Andrew and Doug for keeping the trails well PENOBSCOT sc Hermon, ME
