ditional Thanksgiving dinner. We have had three new business members join us and 12 of our past business members have rejoin this year so far. If you haven’t sent in your membership and super raffle tickets yet, please do both help the club so much. Your slow typing reporter, Kevin Northeast Carry sc Northeast Carry, ME I’m reporting in from the Northeast Carry General Store. Aaron has been doing an awesome job bush hogging the sides of the snowmobile trails prior to snow fall. He’s also been doing a little ditch ing and culvert replacement. We all know get ting the water out of the roads/trails make for huge rewards later on. Thank you, Aaron. Now all we can do is wait for Mother Nature and more particularly an Old-Fashioned Maine Winter. I remember them in 60’s and 70’s. How about you? Looking forward meeting former customers along with new ones this winter! Deer Ole Me, Happy Fall from Ebeemee Snowmobile Club! Boy have we been busy. Our Ebeemee Snack Shack is really shaping up to be spectacular! Many hands make light work is a very true phrase. We had the Bergeron Family and Roger Murray jump in feet first on Ms. Susan’s kitch enette project! First, they installed the pine that was donated by Harris Lumber of Milo. Thank you so much Mike Harris for your very gener ous donation! Next, they installed the flooring donated by Brad Worman last year. Craig then built Ms. Susan some custom cabinets complete with easy close doors! Next, we were on to the back room. The garage door was removed and put in the sled shed. Big ESC Shoutout to Ham mond Lumber Bangor for the donation of all the materials needed to finish the back room! Beyond generous to say the least! Ms. Susan, Erica and myself proceeded to white wash all the pine needed! Phew! Then it was time to put Ebeemee sc Ebeemee Twp, ME

Secretary – JoAnn Clement & Gail Ryan MSA Director – Greg Lidstone Club Reporter – Barry E. Ryan The trail work details have started and will continue until all of the trails have been cleared, please meet at the fire station at 9:00 A.M. on Sunday’s - dress accordingly, we have club tools to use, but you are welcome to bring your own as well. If we have a big crew, we may break off into 2 groups to get more accomplished. We usually work between 4-5 hours, sometimes a little more ....watching the Patriots this year on Sunday afternoon on the couch will be a great way to unwind and wrap-up the weekend. I think that will just about wrap it up for this time. Looking forward to Thanksgiving just around the corner. Hi to all, The grants have been sent in; trail work will start next Sunday. We meet at the clubhouse at 8am. We have tools, so you just need to dress to work outdoors and gloves. We have plenty of brush clearing and a few smaller bridges to repair. We repaired 3 of our big 50-foot bridges last year. So far not many big trees down on trails that have been inspected. Hope to see you next Sunday. We finished the groomer barn, last week. The groomers are in their new home already. Still have the pre-winter maintenance on them to be done this week. We are doing Hunter’s breakfast, the first 3 Saturdays of November. Proceeds from the first Breakfast has always gone to local activ ities and this year will be the same. The club hasn’t decided what local group or groups will benefit from the breakfast. We decide next club meeting. We are doing Thanksgiving dinner again this year, it is free to the public, donations are accepted. We usually serve about 175 people. If you are alone or have your whole family for Thanksgiving, please come and join us for a tra Barry E. Ryan Club Reporter K.S.R.S.C. QUAD COUNTY sc Springfield, ME

the pine up. We had a couple of different crews working out there. Trailmaster Pete started the project. Then Paul Blanchette gave us a full day and completed two more walls. Pete came back in and wrapped up with the last wall. Now all that is left to do is finish the ceiling and the floor. I think we’ll be ready to serve up some great food and camaraderie by the time Old Man Win ter shows up! You are going to love it! Winter trail update: We currently have logging in process on the Schoodic Mountain Trail. I have been told that the plan is to be finished up by Christmas so we should be okay with that. This last weekend we had a couple of work crews out and about. Mike Carey and our favorite electri cian were up working on the Lone Pine trail and the Van Knowe gang headed up to the Gauntlett to add more boards on the bridge. As I under stand it there were a few sleds that “got stuck” due to the spacing on the runners. We should be all set now. We have a couple of other things in the works but I’ll save that for next month! Kristin Villasuso has stepped into the Secre tary position as our Melissa had to step down due to extenuating circumstances. Kristin is also running our Facebook page. I’m sure we’ll keep her busy! It’s great to see so many people stepping up and getting involved! It takes a village! Think cold so we get some great ice, then think snow so we can lay down the white pavement! Remember, it’s all about the Smileage! We love our Trails! Laurie Plourde, President Ebeemee Snowmobile Club

Without your continued support, we would not be able to maintain the clubhouse and trail system that we all get the use and benefit from. Thank You! I will close with this... Looking forward to seeing you all on the trails this season and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families. KENDUSKEAG STREAM RIDERS sc Kenduskeag, ME Welcome All Snowmobile Enthusiasts, Well, it certainly is time to start getting serious about servicing the sleds, checking the trailer over, and dusting off the gear and helmets. After a long, hot, and very dry summer and early fall -it won’t be long until all of the leaves are off the trees and the ground and waterways start to freeze over. Let’s hope that we lots of snow this year (really going to have a record snowfall season to fill up the moun tains for the much needed spring run -off). We have had our 1 st meeting of the season on October 9 th at Dale & JoAnn’s house (thanks again for opening up your home for these meetings). Looks like we will have these folks in place for the officer positions this year: President – Dale Clement Vice President – Kyle Allard Trailmaster – David Poll Membership Chair – Jacob Lynch Barry E.
