dinners and breakfasts and the people that come and dine with us. The meals and our raf fles greatly help with our costs and help with renovations to the building and equipment. Quadcounty SC has come a long way in 20 + years, since three guys talked about starting a club to have groomed trails in our area, our informational meeting in the old Springfield gym, where 30-40 people thought it would be a good idea. We voted to start a club and name it Quadcounty SC. The State of Maine thought we were crazy to start on such a big trail system, but to connect with other existing trails we had to put in over 130 miles the first year, a lot of figuring, begging and generosity of some large business we pulled it off and we still want to thank them for the head start. Quadcounty SC will still be doing our twice monthly breakfast all summer. A spaghetti supper will be April 12, 4 -5:30, please come and enjoy a great meal and support us at the same time. We will be having our annual chicken bbq in July and lobster dinner in August. Hope you have a great summer and we will be starting Wow. I really don’t know how this season flew by so fast. We had a “white Thanks giving”, a “white Christmas”, a “brown New Year’s Day”, a “white Valentines Day” and a “brown St. Patrick’s Day.” Toss in a couple of small snow events, and less than a handful of meaningful snowstorms, along with a cold January, and a rainy, warm first 2 weeks in March and you pretty much have the winter of 2024/2025 summed up .Just looking out side the kitchen window at the ever shrink ing amount of snow on the fields writing this report , and getting ready to start the process of picking-up the Stop Ahead/Stop Signs in the next few days, and as soon as the ground gets dried out a little bit more, the arduous task of removing all of the field stakes, signs, and snow fencing that we so painstakingly installed only a few short weeks ago. We did seem to have quite a bit of traffic as soon as the waterways froze over (still work ing on the possibility of some bridges to span those issues in the future), stay tuned for fur ther details. We really don’t have a whole lot of news items to discuss, except for the projects lined up for the clubhouse. These would include (but not limited to) adding insulation to the west section of the roof, installing new counter top and dual sink in the kitchen, some new flooring in the kitchen and some new paint inside . On the outside, we need some missing, broken siding to repair, and some landscaping (lawn, driveway, etc.). We also will be clean ing out some unwanted items, to go roadside and to re -arrange the workshop area. In the weeks ahead, the Ski-Doo Skandics need to be serviced, summarized and made ready for next season. We actually did get quite a few hours in grooming, and with the addition of the new drag, that was used behind the Kubota, we did have great trails for a few weeks. Many thanks go out the GLRSC trail crew: Eddie P. , Tim H. ,Bradley A., Gene B., Tommy G, .Barry R., and to ALL of the other members and volunteers that put in countless hours and efforts to make this a successful sea son -THANK-YOU. And last but not least, THANK-YOU to ALL the landowners for the use of their prop trail work again in the fall. Your slow typing reporter, Kevin GLENBURN LAKESIDE RIDERS sc Glenburn, ME

If you are interested in becoming an officer -please reach out to us THANK-YOU...The first fall meeting will be September 3rd . 2025. @7:00P.M. at the GLRSC clubhouse-2838 Ohio Street. Have a safe and happy summer. KENDUSKEAG STREAM RIDERS sc Kenduskeag, ME Welcome fellow snowmobilers. Well, here it is, the dreaded end of our again short snowmobile season. hope you took advantage of the tiny window that presented itself the last few weeks and at least got a token amount of sledding in. With the early small storms, then the rain, then the cold Jan uary, and finally some rideable snow in Febru ary and early March, it has come to an abrupt stop, even in Aroostook County. Hopefully we will be on track for a better 2025/2026 season. Dave P. and Hunter P. will no doubt be spearheading the removal of stakes and signs in the next few weeks, as well as pulling out the Ohio Street bridge to safety. We really would like to thank all of the landowners once again this year for the use of their land for our trail system -without you, we wouldn’t have any trails -thank-you. and also, many thanks to the supporting business members in town, too. Your continued sup port helps fund our efforts -thank-you. and last, but not least, a special thanks to Dale and Joann for their continued generous use of their home for our monthly meetings. We look to have a few officer changes / updates for 2025/2026.more to follow on that in the fall news. The KSRSC trails were pretty good with the little snow that did receive over this shortened season, thank -you to all that put in the hard work to make that happen. looking to a longer and better 2025/2026 snowmobile season. The next KSRSC meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 11th .2025 at Dale and Joann’s house at 7:00p.m. have a safe and happy summer. Our last meeting of the season was at Moosehead Sled Rental and Repair and over 30 members attended. Our trails were in excellent shape for a good part of the season. Good snow, good cold and good grooming make for great riding. We had an active and spirited meeting with lots of great ideas for improving the trails, sig nage and the ease of groomer repairs. A groomer shed large enough to do repairs, protected from the elements, was proposed. Also discussed was a program to have local businesses help with the purchase and mainte nance of improved and longer lasting signage. Moosehead Lake flattened out and aside from a few pressure ridges gave us some great spring riding. As always, use caution on lakes, especially near rivers and streams. Our safe trails around the Moose River are well marked and have Barry E. Ryan Vice President G.L.R.S.C. Barry E. Ryan Club Reporter K.S.R.S.C. BLUE RIDGE RIDERS Rockwood, ME

time to reflect on our adventures, achieve ments, and the memories we’ve made together. We thank our landowners, club members, and volunteers for a fantastic season. We would like to extend our heartfelt grati tude to everyone who joined us for the memo rial trail dedication in honor of our past pres ident, Rick LeVasseur. Your presence made the day truly special as we paid tribute to a remarkable leader and cherished friend. It was moving to share stories and memo ries, celebrating Rick’s legacy and the sig nificant impact he had on our club and the snowmobiling community. The dedication ceremony marked a memorable moment for us all and a reaffirmation of the bonds that connect us as a riding family. As we move forward, let us carry on Rick’s legacy in our hearts and continue to foster the camaraderie and passion that he inspired in each of us. We welcomed many new members this season and are excited to see our club grow. If you’re new, don’t hesitate to reach out and get involved in our upcoming activities! Don’t forget to join our club again next season and every season!

Like us on Facebook or message us at sebagobranchduckers@gmail.com Hello everyone! The inevitable is here. The season is wind ing down, but we were fortunate to get several storms in the month of February that allowed the club to groom 100% of our trails several times. The positive feedback from folks pass ing through Sebago was great to hear! We’d like to thank our dedicated club mem bers for working on the trails throughout the season. A special thank you to Chris Ander son, our Club President. We appreciate his commitment to the club and all the behind the scenes work he does. Chris keeps Sebago Branch Duckers flourishing. As we transition to spring, the trails will be busy with other recreational activities. Maybe Moxie and I will see some of you while walk ing on our fantastic Sebago trails! Stay safe on the trails, Jim LaPointe The final meeting was well attended, with 20 people and two dogs. We welcomed two new members to the meeting, Julie and Ray. It was great to have you there! Items of dis cussion included using the new club roller to establish a better base on the trails. It works well at keeping the trails packed down and lasting longer. The donation to Donald Hyson was initi ated, and he thanked the club for its support. We wish him healing thoughts and continued prayers for recovery. In trail news, Sawyer and Jay put signage on the pond and multi-use ski trail. A new bypass was made around the solar farm; it has been signed, groomed, and put to good use over the past 4 weeks or so. The powerline crossing area on 218 will be redone this sum mer once work has been completed. This will allow for safer crossing and easier northern travel next year. John updated the members on the financial position of the club. He scheduled and paid for fuel delivery and received funds from the town for sled registrations. Planning for the grant sub-committee meeting will be held in the upcoming weeks, and there was talk of planning a summer barbeque, possibly around the 4th of July. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates on social gatherings through out the year. Until next year, happy trails! Club Reporters Tabatha Sawyer and Kris tina Verney ALNA sc Alna, ME

Thank you to everyone for making this sea son memorable! We look forward to seeing you all next winter for more trails, laughter, and adventure! Enjoy the off-season and stay safe! Mike DeLong - Director Hi to all, Quadcounty SC would like to thank every one that has supported the club, this year. We put in 623 labor hours doing trail work, cutting brush, signing the trails, replanking bridges and dealing with beavers. Along with the labor hours, 437.5 hours of equipment was used be it saws, pickups, sleds, sxs, excavators, loader trucks and tractors. Quadcounty SC doubled the grooming hours over last year’s poor win ter season with 156.5 hours up to March 4, if we got the snow then that we have got the last three days we could have groomed another week at least.
