Report from the Hollis Planning Board for Fiscal Year 2024-2025

Introduction The Hollis Planning Board is pleased to present the Annual Report for the fiscal year 2024-2025. This report highlights the activities, approvals, ordinance reviews, and community engagement efforts undertaken by the Planning Board to support sustainable development and regulatory compliance within the Town of Hollis. Board Composition As of the end of this fiscal year, the Planning Board was composed of the following members: • Chair: Gregg McPherson • Vice Chair: Heather Sullivan • Members: Tom Witkowski, Nicholas Hebert, Butch Gannett, Danielle Bradbury and Don Roth (alternate) The Board met regularly, following the established meeting schedule to review applications, discuss ordinance updates, and engage with community members. Ordinance Amendments & Public Hearings Throughout the fiscal year, the Planning Board engaged in public hearings and discussions regarding amendments to the following ordinances: • Zoning Ordinance: Updates to Zoning Ordinances including Accessory Dwelling Units based on LD2003 requirements. • Floodplain Management Ordinance: Updates were proposed to enhance community resilience and flood protection measures. • Shoreland Zoning Map: Updates were proposed for accuracy. All amendments were subject to public hearings and community input prior to Board recommendations. Meeting Schedule & Attendance The Planning Board holds regular meetings on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. Members are engaged and community participation was encouraged during public hearings and open forums.
