ment many years ago is still in use today. The Bridgton Selectmen just gave approval for the Fire Department to purchase a used side-by side Gator from the Naples Fire Department. This will give them a reliable way to pull the Rescue Boggin in case of emergency. They are now looking for a set of tracks and a 16ft enclosed trailer to complete the deal. Blaine reported that the new 30” by 60” banners featuring the new Club name are printed and ready to display at rallies, parades, and public events. The Club Grant application is ready to go to the Town Manager. There was discussion about the MSA Scholarship Program and whether the Club should con sider participation. Trail work is proceeding and work parties will meet at the Bridgton Walgreens on Sun day mornings at 8AM. Work is usually com pleted by noon. More hands make light work. There is much need for brushing overgrown trails and filling water holes. We are awaiting approval from CMP on several trails. Bill Preis reported that the 2025 trail map is on schedule to be printed and ready before snow flies. The next meetings of Pleasant Mountain Snowmobile Club are scheduled for Friday, November 8 th , and December 13 th for the annual Christmas Part. They will be held at The Bridgton Community Center on Depot Street. The Fabulous Pot Luck Supper begins at 6PM followed by the business meeting at 6:45. Come to our meetings and learn about our upcoming Club events: the Christmas Holiday Party, Club Rally, and Club Trips. All are welcome! Hope to see you there, Bill Preis Club Correspondent EASTERN REGION What’s new and exciting up here in Ebee mee you wonder? Well, we’ve had quite a bit of activity in the trail work department! Mike Carey, Kristen and Brent Vilasuso and Jim Downes all put in a ton of time brushing out the Ebeemee Mountain Trail. It looks AMAZ ING! Pete and I took a ride up last Sunday (10/27) to check it out and it was snowing! The Van Knowe gang went in and completely redecked the biggest of the two bridges on Bill’s Right Way. The second smaller bridge will be repaired for this year but will be sched uled to be completely stripped and redecked as a project for next year. Dan Sullivan and Wally Tipert took equipment up to the Ebee mee Snowmobile Club’s Park and Ride and did some much-needed smoothing out. This will enable the lot to be plowed and main tained earlier since it was so rough initially. I think all of you that use it will be very pleas antly surprised! John and Melissa have picked up our second new grooming sled from Bangor Motorsports and it is sitting patiently in the groomer shed. The next project on that will be studding the track. The material has been ordered so if any body out there would like to volunteer to help out on this project that would be great! Just reach out to Trailmaster Pete and let him know (t5r9sledder@gmail.com) We are also currently in the final planning stages of (hopefully) getting the Gauntlett bridge repaired and put back in place! Thank you to Joe Higgins, Jeff Monk, John Troyan, Ron Mullins and Jeff Chambers for pulling this together. Our area needs that bridge. It is, at least in my opinion, one of the prettiest rides out to that bridge. On another, sad note, our sport lost one of the best. As some of you may know, Rick Levasseur passed in September. He left behind some very big shoes to fill and a legacy that will live on forever. Rick was instrumental in the growth of Ebeemee Snowmobile Club. He arranged for us to take over the section of the ITS 111 between Brownville SC and the Jo-Mary Road. He then found us the BR, got it delivered to JMR’s groomer shed and together Ebeemee sc Brownville, ME

Happy Thanksgiving, Dan Trouant, club reporter Hello, We held our first meeting for the 2024/2025 season. Lots of discussions about various work details and what can we accomplish for the upcoming season. Our Trailmaster Billy has been out over the tails for over a month planning of what work needs to be prioritized. We have held 3 trail work brushing details and 1 bridge rebuild but I will say attendance for whatever reason has been lower than previous years. We hope this will pick up as we can use all the help we can get. On another note, due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to search for a new President for the club. We held a special meeting 2 weeks ago and voted in our new President. Welcome Dana Bowman we’re North Franklin sc Phillips, ME Find us on Facebook Bridget Gorton Club Secretary

Thank you to our volunteers for taking time to sell raffle tickets at the Maine Snowmo bile Show and at the workplace. These raffle ticket sales help fund our trail maintenance and grooming operations. Since our last report we have replaced another bridge on the east side trail. The new bridge is wider with greater load capacity and is the last of five new bridges on this trail. These bridges will provide safe operation for our expanding grooming fleet for decades. Our trails are in great shape for the upcom ing season, out trail master Shawn has been working hard all summer to complete a long list of projects. Thanks to all the volunteers who took time this summer to help with these projects. We will again publish the regional C4 map and those will be available from participating clubs and at the Rome Town Hall. Our meet ings are the second Tuesday of the month Sep tember to April, 7:00PM at the Rome Town Hall. All are welcome.
