Our Childcare team jumped into action and provided childcare to over 55 families through out the year. Nearly doubling our capacity. Our childcare team faced many adjustments. The biggest was going from one late arrival per month to two early releases per month. We also added three different adult fitness programs into our offerings through out the year, along with numerous new trips and programs. I want to take this time to share my appreciation for the staff of the Recreation Department. Without their hard work and dedication to the Buxton community, we would not be able to offer programs at the capacity that we do. A special thank you to our Childcare Services Programmer, Matt Willis and Recreation Supervisor, Zach Boyd. They bring endless professionalism and energy to the department each and every day. We are looking forward to getting out to “ PLAY EVERY DAY ” in the year to come! We are looking forward to having you join us for a program or trip!
