Our Impact on our Community in 2022-2023 Here at Buxton Recreation we strive to offer high quality programs that connect the Community. We use our passion for recreational opportunities to help families and individuals develop a love and passion; for a physical, emotional, and mental sound life style were they can “PLAY EVERY DAY.” Whether that be walking in one of our many parks, playing soccer, or taking a trip with us. We look forward to building a healthier community to come! Over 28% increase in registrations with over 2,565 processed registrations. Full time and 20 Part time staff members.

We saw a 55.84% increase in programs offered, with over 120 programs created.

Soccer saw a 22.6% grow in registrations. With over 165 Registrations.

We offered a total of 3 new Pre-K Programs. Which had over 45 registrations.

The program to see the biggest growth was our Track and Field Program with seeing over a 50% growth. 2,000 Easter Eggs used for our Annual Bunny Trail.

In the course of a 7 week program our Teen Extreme Summer group hiked over 8 miles .

Over 9,350 healthy snacks provided between our childcare programs.

Over 445 hours of Summer Camp programming.

Over 1250 hours of childcare programming.

Over 2,814 miles traveled between 30 deffrent trips.

We offered over 145 days of programming out of 260 business days.
