Showcase Ride Lafland

Rovers for opening the clubhouse in the morning so riders could get ready and for being open when we returned for everyone to get inside once again. Many, many, many thanks to East Branch Sno Rovers, NorthernTimber Cruisers andTwin Pines Snowmobile Club for having the trails groomed for the group. Even though there were low snow conditions in some areas, overall, the trails were good to very good with a few exceptions. Thanks to Larry Lafland for finding a route and leading the ride. Once the ride was over, there were three hours before the Feb. MSA Directors started, also at the East Branch Sno Rovers. A spa

for lunch. The group then went to the Timber Cruisers vintage museum and took pictures with the first registered snowmobile in Maine, a 1967 Ski-Doo Super Olympic, which just so happens to belong to the Maine Snowmobile Association! When we left theTimber Cruisers, Charlie Huntington led the group with his vintage snowmobile to the beginning of the new trail where Larry took the lead again. The new trail runs east to ITS 83 and back to the East Branch Sno Rovers, where we started. The trail is so new most people do not know about it, so we enjoyed a trail that had hardly been used. OurThanks to the East Branch Sno

ghetti dinner was served to every one who came to the meeting. Again, more thanks to EBSR for hosting the meeting. The day and night were a success and did what we hoped, showcased the snow mobile clubs in that area!! Great Job Everyone!!
