In May 2023, ERC hosted Robb Cotiaux, licensed forester and arborist, at the fairgrounds to talk about invasive plants: what they are, why we should care, how to identify them, and the available steps to take to remove them. In June of 2023, we accepted the resignation of Laura Fralich. Members Sarah Kaplinger and Doug Smith submitted applications for reappointment. Continuing members include chair Lauren Jordan, secretary Diane Lamson, and Noreen Williams. Vice chair position will be filled after appointments are confirmed. Peter Bragdon served as select board liaison, and Sarah Rodriquez continues as Parks and Rec liaison.
