Photo as a boat house that was located on the shore on the boatyard side of the former Boyden Cottage. It is the building on the shore to the ex treme right of the top right photo (1930s). The bottom right photo shows the Littlefield extended farmhouse with barn (Phipps) and the Littlefield Stone Wharf, now the site of the Boatyard Wharf taken from Crow Island before the boathouse was built.
Tour of Coleman’s Cove, May 6 at 11 AM Join Donna Damon for a free historical tour of the Coleman’s Cove neighborhood on May 6. The tour is part of a global initiative known as Jane’s Walk, inspired by community activist Jane Ja cobs. The tours are volunteer led conversations about local history, sense of place, and civic engagement. Last spring we ex plored the East End with maps and historic photos from the Museum’s collections. Meet at the entrance to South Shore Drive at 11 AM. Wear comfortable shoes, but no need for boots. Please pre-register by emailing or calling the Museum.
