Eastern Regional Meeting held in Baileyville By: Eileen Lafland

On Thursday January 19 th repre sentatives from MSA traveled to Baileyville to meet with snow mobile clubs from the Downeast area. Eileen and Larry Lafland, Al Swett, Mike Grass and Barry and Gail Ryan were joined by Eastern regional director and trail com mittee inspector Gary Dowling and MSA trail inspector Ed Rich ards to provide information to

clubs and to introduce the new Recreational Trails Coordinator for Downeast area who works for ORV office, Eric Sprague. Clubs from Grand Lake Stream, Bai leyville, Vanceboro, Calais, Princ eton, Beddington, Cherryfield, Alexander, Machias, and East Machias had members in atten dance. Topics discussed were trail signing, trail inspections,

safety, grant information, as well as MSA membership, contest info, and scholarship informa tion. Eastern Regional MSA VP Eileen Lafland would like to thank Ed Richards for arranging a place for us to meet, all the represen tatives from MSA who attended and most importantly all the club members who took time for them schedules to attend the meeting.
