ANNUAL REPORT Community Fair Committee

To Select Board, Town Manager and the citizens of New Gloucester: This report is in reference to the Community Fair Held on 8/15/2020. This was the first year back for the fair after a several year break. The day was a great success with a calculated 1600 people in attendance. The event was held at the fair grounds on Bald Hill Road. The fair is currently self-funded. No funding is received from the town. Income used to produce the fair is from vendor rental fees and sponsors. The town has allowed use of the Public Works crew to assist with setting up the tents and staging and tear down. All finances are run through the town office and treasurer Lori Ann Wilson. During this fair we worked with Parks and Recreation Director Morgan Rocheleau also. The fair had over 70 vendors, displays, events and food booths. The day was a great success and a special thanks to the small committee: Jennifer Bragdon, Jessica Farwell, Susan Hawkins (volunteer) and Morgan Rocheleau. Thank you to the town for supporting this event. Thank you to the committee, the sponsors, and the attendees for a great New Gloucester Community Fair. See you Next Year!!
