Upcoming services and series: Wednesday, March 2 nd – Ash Wedneday begins the season of Lent, a time of intentional spiritual formation as we look to the resurrection of Christ on Easter Sunday. We receive ashes on our foreheads or the backs of our hands as a reminder that we are part of the dust of the earth – and just as things grow and die in the cycle of creation, we, too, have times of growth and times of decay. Join us at 5 PM (location TBD) for a Sunset Ash Wednesday Service.. Good Enough: Embracing the Imperfections of Life and Faith (March – April 10) – Many of us feel the need and pressure to “keep up,” “buck up,” “measure up,” and “build up” in our lives, in our careers, in our homes and even in our hobbies. And now as we ease back into a hopefully-post-ish-pandemic world, the exhaustion is real but the expectations are again creeping up, nudging us toward some vision of a “good life” defined by society that isn’t always realistic or even possible. Our series, based on Kate Bowler’s book Good Enough: 40ish devotionals for a life of imperfection , will help us breathe and embrace a faith that is good enough, which is good news in our hectic world!
