Advent Worship Series – Those Who Dream There’s a line in Psalm 126: “When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream.” What does it look like to live as those who dream? What does it mean to step into God’s hopes and dreams for us – and for the world? The people and prophets we encounter in the Christmas story were all dreamers; they received, discovered, and responded to God’s dreams for the world. We’ll explore this in Advent, a season where we watch and wait with expectancy for God’s dreams to shape our reality.

I hope that this series speaks to the dreamer in all of us – those of us who dream of a better world, those of us who dream of comfort and peace, and even those of us who may have given up on our dreams. It’s for those of us whose dreams have been crushed and for those of us who show us that dreams take time. Join us as we dream alongside prophets and angels, Mary and the Magi. Stop by the sanctuary to pick up a daily Advent devotional, or email the church to receive a digital copy, and be sure to join us for worship!

Monthly Boxes from the Food Pantry The pandemic has redefined need – particularly for many who continue to find ways to minimize exposure and juggle mainland errands. Need isn’t just about economics – but about time, capacity, and access. The food pantry will be making monthly boxes available – roughly timed with the holidays – to help address some of this need. In addition, we remain committed to providing for those experiencing food insecurity and for those who are making meals for people in need of community support.
