Land Management Planning Committee (LMPC) The committee developed ordinance changes covering the permitting process and performance standards for solar energy systems in New Gloucester. These changes were voted into the ordinance by the residents via ballot July14, 2020. Thanks to all who served: Linda Chase, Christina Chase, Sam Coggeshall, George Colby (Chairman), Jean Couturier, Caitlyn Davison (Vice Chairman), Karen Gilles, Donald Libby, Jean Libby, and Brian Shedlarski. Economic Development Committee During this period, committee activities included: • Working with the Comprehensive Plan Committee on the economic portion of the comprehensive plan. • Planning a forum on Eco-tourism and a business networking event. Unfortunately both of these events had to be out on hold due to COVID-19 restrictions. Thanks to all who served: Beth Blakeman-Pohl, Julie Fralich (Chairman), Sarah Pierce (Vice-Chairman), and Gina Sawin.
