Summer Ice Cream Socials —Come to our Ice Cream Socials on Thursday July 26, Thursday August 2, and Saturday August 4 6:00 p.m. at the Parish House . Planning to go to the fantastic concerts this summer sponsored by the Free Concert Fund in the sanctuary? Come over early to join friends and neighbors for fun and ice cream at the Parish House! We’ll have individual cones and make-your-own sundaes with all the fixings. Proceeds go to benefit the missions and ministries of CUMC. Worship on the Beach! —Join us at Chandlers Field on Sunday July 22 at 5:00 p.m. for a potluck barbecue and beach worship. We’ll provide the beverages and the burgers and dogs! Bring along some food to share for this time of fellowship and casual, interactive, and intergenerational worship. We’ll give thanks for the blessings in our lives and pray for our community and our world. In case of bad weather, stay tuned to our website and Facebook page.

Vacation Bible School: Rolling River Rampage August 6–10 3:00–6:00 p.m.— Registration is open, and volunteers are needed! We’re excited to announce the theme for this year’s Vacation Bible School—Rolling River Rampage: Experience the Ride of a Lifetime with God! Join Romper and his friends as they learn about peace, acceptance, adventure, joy, and rest during this week of FREE Vacation Bible School. Dinner is also provided! You can register by visiting http://www.chebeagueumc.org/vbs.html or by finding a paper registration form in the entryway of the Parish House. Kids of all ages are welcome; children younger than kindergarten are welcome with a responsible adult.

Adult and teen volunteers are needed to help make this the best week of camp! We’re looking for activity leaders for crafts, assembly, recreation, music, missions, meals, and more! The curriculum is provided. Contact Cheryl Hillicoss ( i.m.imaginable@gmail.com ) or Melissa ( ml.yosuadavis@gmail.com ) for more information. We will have a meeting on a Sunday afternoon in late July for all interested.
